Please ensure you have read these Terms and Conditions in full prior to booking:
1. Booking & Payment
All bouquet preservation frames are individually handmade and created to order.
Bookings made more than 8 weeks before your wedding date require a 50% deposit to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due no later than 2 weeks before your wedding date. Bookings made within 8 weeks of your wedding date require full payment upfront.
Work will not begin until the required payment has been received in full.
2. Bouquet Delivery & Condition
Your bouquet should reach Sage and Soul as soon as possible after your wedding, ideally within 24-48 hours, to give your flowers the best possible chance of successful preservation.
Until delivery, keep your bouquet in fresh water in a cool, shaded location. If posting, use a suitable protective package and a 24 hour tracked delivery service. Please arrange drop offs in advance.
The condition of your flowers on arrival will affect the final result. While every effort will be made to salvage bruised or wilted flowers, Sage and Soul cannot guarantee results where flowers have deteriorated or been damaged before arrival.
3. Deconstruction & Preparation
By proceeding with your booking, you authorise Sage and Soul to carefully deconstruct your bouquet, including removing flowers, foliage, ribbons, ties and other components as needed for preservation. The original bouquet cannot be reconstructed.
Fresh flowers are delicate, and some damage or loss may occur during preparation and pressing. Every effort will be made to handle your flowers with care, but not every flower can be guaranteed to survive the process.
4. Flower Selection & Suitability
Flowers are natural materials, and each variety responds differently to drying and pressing. Some may be unsuitable due to their size, moisture content, condition or natural structure.
Sage and Soul will select the healthiest and most suitable flowers and foliage for your frame. Where possible, suitable parts of flowers that cannot be pressed whole may still be incorporated.
Some varieties, including certain berries and succulents, may not be suitable for preservation. Any proposed replacement flowers or artificial alternatives, along with associated costs, will be discussed and agreed with you before purchase.
5. Preservation & Natural Changes
Drying and pressing can naturally alter the colour, shape, size and texture of flowers. Some may darken, fade or develop cream or brown tones. These changes are a normal characteristic of preserving real flowers and cannot be entirely prevented or predicted.
Colour correction may be available as an additional service if agreed in advance. While I will aim for a natural looking result, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.
Due to the delicate nature of dried flowers, minor imperfections, variations and differences from the original bouquet are to be expected and form part of the character of your unique keepsake.
6. Design & Composition
Each frame is individually designed using the preserved flowers from your bouquet. I will use my artistic judgement to create an arrangement that showcases your flowers beautifully.
Due to the handmade and unpredictable nature of pressed flowers, the final design may differ from initial ideas, photographs or examples provided. Not every flower or piece of foliage will necessarily be included, depending on its condition, suitability and your chosen frame style.
Any unused flowers, foliage or bouquet materials may be retained by Sage and Soul unless you request their return before preservation work begins. Unsuitable or damaged materials may not be returnable in their original condition.
7. Turnaround Time
The estimated turnaround time is approximately 8-12 weeks from receipt of your bouquet. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date, as drying and pressing times vary depending on the flowers and environmental conditions.
If additional preservation time is needed to achieve the best possible result, your turnaround time may be extended. I will let you know about any significant delays. This is a slow, hands on process that can’t be rushed.
8. Care & Longevity
Your finished frame is a one of a kind piece made from natural materials. Although your flowers will be preserved, their colours may gradually change or fade over time.
To help protect your keepsake, display it away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and humidity. Preserved flowers are delicate and should be handled with care.
9. Collection & Delivery
Frames are carefully prepared and packaged, but pressed flowers and completed frames remain delicate. Collection is recommended wherever possible.
10. Payment, Cancellations & Changes
Please contact Sage and Soul as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking.
Where work has commenced, charges or deductions may apply for work completed and costs reasonably incurred, subject to applicable consumer law. Any refund will be assessed in accordance with your legal rights and the circumstances of the cancellation.
Once the final arrangement and framing process has begun, changes to the agreed design may no longer be possible without risking damage to your flowers.
11. Unforeseen Circumstances
Every effort will be made to care for your flowers throughout the preservation process. However, events outside my reasonable control may occasionally affect an order.
If an unforeseen circumstance significantly affects your booking, I will contact you to discuss the situation and appropriate next steps.
12. Photography & Social Media
With your permission, Sage and Soul may photograph your finished frame for use on its website, portfolio and social media. Your keepsake will not be shared for promotional purposes without your consent.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By paying your invoice and providing your bouquet, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including the natural variations and risks associated with preserving real flowers.
If you have any questions about the process or your booking, please get in touch before proceeding. I want you to feel confident and informed about entrusting your special flowers to Sage and Soul.
